Obituary for Bruce Gordon Ogilvie

Bruce Gordon Ogilvie
Bro. Bruce Gordon Ogilvie
Bruce’s journey of enlightening friends and family with his love and laughter, concluded peacefully on January 23, 2015, at Campbell House in Collingwood, with his best friend and wife, Lorraine Ogilvie at his side.
Bruce’s 76 years of celebrating life, started in Dundee Scotland where the paths he traveled and explored weren’t without challenges, yet Bruce demonstrated the same spirit and endless unselfishness empowering his family with life, forgiveness and joy right up to and now beyond his passing.
Carrying on Bruce’s love and dedication to life, family and friends are his wife: Lorraine, his children: Erin, Patrick and his wife Laura, Lindsay and her husband Gordon, his Grandchildren: Alexandra, Nikita, Gabriel, Skylar, Corinne, Shayne and Paisley, the congregation from Wasaga Beach Community Presbyterian Church and his brethren from Northern Lights Masonic Lodge.
A Masonic Service, scheduled for 1:30, followed by Bruce’s Wasaga Beach Community Presbyterian Church service at 2:00 pm, will take place on Saturday January 31, 2015 and then followed by fellowship and refreshments at the church, located at 208 Mosley Street.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Campbell House, as the amazing staff, wonderful volunteers and other resident families were all our extended family during Bruce’s stay.
