Died peacefully on Tuesday April 21, 2015 at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 83. Bill of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of the late Evelyn. Loving father of William Jr. (Laura), Rosalind (Dave Wood), Gary (the late Lynn), Barry (Heather) and Jeanette (Randy Thistel). Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Bill will also be missed by his many friends, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Thursday April 23, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday April 24, 2015 at 11 o’clock. Spring interment Stayner Union Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by Bill’s family.
