Died peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Sunset Manor, Collingwood in her 85th year. Gloria of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife for 64 years to Bernard. Loving mother of Robert, William (Loren), Denise Wallace (Steve Fournier) and Paul. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Natasha, Brett, Trevor, Lucas, Blayke, Julia, Billy and the late Chantal and to great grandchildren Tyler, Nicholas, Leah and Maximus. Predeceased by her brother Robert Desormeau and her parents Emmett and Rhea Desormeau. Gloria will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, neighbours, Probus colleagues and friends. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Noel Chabanel Catholic Church, 133 Dunkerron Avenue, Wasaga Beach on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 12 Noon.
