Obituary for Robert Alexander "Bob" Low

Low, Robert Alexander (Bob –Bobby)
At the young age of 63, following complications from surgery, Bob died suddenly but peacefully on Friday April 14, 2017, surrounded by family at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood. Bob was born in Hamilton and retired from Stelco after 33 years. Bob and his soulmate of 34 years, Lynda (nee Harrison) then retired to Wasaga Beach. Loving stepfather to Randy and to grandchildren Randi-Lyn and Nicolas. Dear brother to Jean (Andy) and Chris (Dave). He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob will be forever missed by Lynda and her sisters Janet, Robbie and Donna as well as many, many friends from Hamilton and Wasaga Beach. Last but not least, Bob will be missed by his furbaby Oprah – they adored each other. Cremation has taken place and at Bob’s request, there will not be a funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at Country Life, 90 Theme Park Drive, Wasaga Beach on Sunday April 30, 2017 from 4 to 9 p.m. If desired, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by Bob’s family. Arrangements under the care of the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home. For further information and to sign the Book of Memories, log on to www.carruthersdavidson.com
