She could see hope when others saw disaster. She would see an opportunity where others could not. I've missed her since you left Millbrook. Missed her counsel and friendship. Condolence: Dear Prentice/Hogan families. I wish I could add something profound or something to take your pain away, or something that would help in some way but I don't have that ability. That will come in time...Pat loves how you are having family time right now and helping each other through the pain and sadness. She loved you all very much and was a very proud Mom & Grandma. I am fortunate I got to know her a bit better in the past few years. She was a very intuitive lady as well as very knowledgeable about many things. Lean on each other for comfort and support. That is also what Pat wanted, so show her you can. xo

I wish more that I could meet you all...I'm from the Roman branch of the family.
But most of all, I wish I could have re-connected with your mom. We exchanged letters when I joined the Navy, but that faded by life getting in the way.
Even though our lives have kept us apart, I love you all. My thoughts are with you at this terrible time. Just remember her words. She knew.

Condolence: Mom.... you raised me with so much faith and love. I can her your voice still reminding me that I will be ok when you're gone but it's so hard now that you aren't there to tell me it's going to be okay. You weren't just a mother to me but also my best friend.
I am so incredibly lucky to have had you as a mother , a role model and a best friend. I know someday we will see each other again. We talked about so much every day and now my phone isn't ringing and I find my voice is gone... all of a sudden I don't have so much to say.... everywhere I look I remember us. We had so many fun laughs till we cried , adventures and amazing moments! This adventure you have to go on without me but I will be there one day.... please watch over your grandchildren.
