Died peacefully on Wednesday September 27, 2017 surrounded by his family at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 86. Doug of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Yvonne and of the late Pat. Loving father of Kathleen (Ron Ryan),Ruth Livingston and the late Ian (Angela). Cherished grandfather of Chelsea and Kayleen Ryan, Rebecca and Jake Livingston, Seiji De Luca Whiteman, Evan and Thea Richinson, Teagan and Mick Foley and Ava and Lauren Haines. Dear brother of David (Shirley), the late Stanley (Ruth) and Ruth (Laurie Hanchard). Dear brother-in-law of the late Robert (Noreen) Quinn and Will (Ellen) Quinn. Doug will also be missed by Yvonne’s children Debra (Steve Richinson), Lisa (Kevin Foley) and Todd (Kara) Haines, her sister Nodaine Bender, his nieces and nephews and his many dear friends. Doug was a wise and caring man with a wonderful sense of humour. He will be deeply missed. Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life at the Faith Missionary Church, 1355 River Road West, Wasaga Beach Saturday October 28, 2017 at 1 o'clock with visitation one hour prior.
