Douglas-Cairns, Isabella Easton (nee Rock)
Died peacefully on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at the Stayner Care Centre at the age of 83. Isabel, formerly of Brampton, beloved wife of the late Don Cairns and the late Trevor Douglas. Loving mother of the late Stephen (Wendy Douglas) and Alan Douglas. Isabel will also be missed by her extended family in Ireland, her many dear friends and her former teaching colleagues. Isabel had a long career in the classroom, particularly at Bramalea Secondary School. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Saturday March 10, 2018 from 12 noon for the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 o’clock. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. If desired, donations to Jubilee Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by Isabel’s family.
