Condolence: Sincere Condolences to Dave's Family. We met through our Bay Colony Assoc & he enjoyed his Volunteer time with us! No one needs to tell you what a caring man Dave was! He was especially proud of his ongoing involvement with the Students and the Tree Planting Program. The NCA and Hunters & Anglers just to name a few!

Condolence: On behalf of the Georgian Triangle Anglers Association, I would like to send condolences to Dave's family. Dave will be remembered as the first person to offer to chip in and give a hand when a project needed to get done. He was highly regarded and awarded for his conservation efforts with many organizations including our club, the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters and the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority to name a few. He was always willing to help out with Vanier and C.C.I. students when it came to clearing a river or planting trees. He will be fondly remembered as a kind and true gentleman. It was an honor to know Dave. He will be sadly missed.

Condolence: I met Dave many years ago through the OFAH Women’s program and connected with him at Zone H functions. He volunteered for our Youth Day the past 8 years teaching survival skills, bird box building, outdoor crafts and wood carving. He inspired me with our youth programs and he will be missed in the outdoor world. He took my adult brother under his wing when he needed some mentoring and I’m forever grateful.

Condolence: Hi Audrey. So very sorry to read about your dad. After I moved to the beach and started walking to get my mail I was surprised to see your dad out working in the driveway a few years back at one of the houses I pass. So I stopped, reintroduced myself, discovered that's where he lived and from then on always enjoyed ours chats when I would catch him out puttering in the garage. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.

Condolence: Dave and I were part of the Basic Department when I came to CCI. He always wore the warmest smile on his face followed by that familiar chuckle. The photo of him holding the fish brings back so many memories of his fishing stories. It was an honour to work with him. Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. Sincerely, ‘Rosie’

Condolence: My condolences to the family. I was a student of Mr Field so many, many years ago in that little one room public school, S.S. # 10 Townsend. Mr Field taught me for 3 years and then he moved on. I hold many memories of those times and was blessed to have him as my very first teacher.
