Kirkwood; Margaret Ruth (née Underwood)
Passed away suddenly at home on Monday, May 28, 2018 in her 80th year. Marg of Stayner, beloved wife of the late Bill Kirkwood (2012). Loving mother of Karen and her husband Paul Reid, Kathy and her husband Mark Allen and Bob Kirkwood. Loved grandmother of Morgan (Jordan Wright), Hannah (Sean), Emma (Jordan), Jeff (Bronwyn), Jacob, Ali and Mackenzie and to great granddaughter Charlotte Wright. Dear sister of Carole (the late Lyal Fryer), the late Noreen Nicholson (Bob Lush), Bill Underwood (Nancy) and Melissa Meek (James). Marg will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, her colleagues at Spriggs Insurance, her church family and her many friends and neighbours. Marg was a kind and loving woman who was an endless bundle of energy. She gave of herself to her church and her community. Marg cherished her family and will be deeply missed. Friends are invited to join her family for the Funeral Service at the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd, 219 Scott Street, Stayner on Friday June 1, 2018 at 11 o’clock. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery. Reception to follow. If desired, donations in Marg’s memory may be made to the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd or the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation.
