Died suddenly on Sunday September 9, 2018 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 50. Peter of Stayner, loving son of Wilma McQueen and the late George Van Beek. Dear brother of Cathy (Jim Lowe), Peggy Meeser and the late David Van Beek. Cherished uncle of Andy Lowe, Rhonda (Drew Millsap), Jennifer Lowe, Kevin Lowe (Brooke), Gerrit Meeser and Jenna Meeser and great uncle of Aaden, Sophia, Sullivan, Axton, Tessa and Nash. Peter was a kind man who cherished his family. He will be missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Wednesday September 12th from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at Jubilee Presbyterian Church, 7320 Highway 26, Stayner on Thursday September 13th at 11 o’clock.
