Died peacefully on Monday, September 17, 2018 surrounded by his family at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital, at the age of 67. Bob of Collingwood, formerly of Glen Huron, beloved husband of Louise (nee Beattie). Loving and proud father of Madeline (Scott Towsley) and Ross. Dear brother of Jim Watt (Christine Altmann), Nancy Watt, Bill Watt (Martina Leimgardt) and Barbara Watt. Bob will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, the Beattie family and his many friends. He was determined to live life as he wished following his diagnosis of MS over 30 years ago. He farmed for over four decades west of Dunedin. He was hardworking and could build or fix anything. Being athletic, he excelled at many sports, particularly enjoying paddling and downhill skiing. He will be deeply missed. Friends are invited to join Bob’s family to remember and celebrate his life on Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Toronto Ski Club, 796456 Grey Road 19, Blue Mountains from 2 to 4 p.m. Words of remembrance at 2:15 p.m. If desired, a donation to the MS Society or the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
