We enjoyed getting to know Yvonne when we lived in Lion's Head, close to her place. She was not only an excellent teacher but also a great cook. Yvonne always took a special interest in our young daughter. We also had the pleasure of visiting her later in Meaford and Stayner. Irene had a wonderful visit by telephone last Christmas. Yvonne enjoyed reminiscing about the good times in the past with Irene. Unfortunately, we are not able to attend the funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
