Died peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2018 at the Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto at the age of 82. Mary of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of the late Bill Bird (2013). Dear mother of Gail (John McEwen), Kathleen (Andy Chalmers), Christine Curran, William Bird and Carole Bird. Grandmother of Robin (Marcin), John and Brandon. She is predeceased by her loving parents Mary and Joseph Dudas. Mary loved to spend time in her gardens and enjoyed the peacefulness of the outdoors. A woman of deep faith who was a long-time member of the CWL. She will be missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home - Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Service will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Noel Chabanel Roman Catholic Church, 133 Dunkerron Avenue, Wasaga Beach on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10 o’clock. Interment Wasaga Beach Cemetery. Reception to follow at St. Noel Chabanel Church Hall. If desired, a donation to St. Patrick’s Parish or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family.
