Young, Elizabeth Alice Mae (nee Boyle)

Peacefully on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 92. Mae, beloved wife of the late Elgin Young. Loving mother of Robert and his wife Jane of Wasaga Beach and the late James and his wife Lee of Pickering. Cherished grandmother to grandchildren Todd (Krista) of Wasaga Beach, Robyn (Scott Belleghem) of Wasaga Beach, Jackie (Mike Long) of Vancouver and Jason Willcocks (Kim) of Pickering and to great grandchildren Grayce Belleghem, Jackson Young, Maggie and Zachary Long and Brandon and Jordyn Willcocks. Mae will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Thursday December 30, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. for the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 o’clock. Reception to follow at Centennial United Church, Stayner. Spring Interment Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton on Saturday May 14, 2011 at 11 o’clock. If desired, remembrances to Centennial United Church, Box 385, Stayner, ON L0M 1S0 would be appreciated by Mae’s family. The medical teams at the General & Marine Hospital and Leisureworld – Creedan Valley, Creemore are gratefully acknowledged for their outstanding care of Mae. Thank you.
