To the Boyce family: I never had the pleasure of knowing Hugh's family. I worked with Hugh at Lisgar Collegiate in Ottawa a great deal as I was a counsellor and Hugh the VP. I found him to be very professional in his role and yet had a very human and humane approach to the students we dealt with. Hugh had a great sense of humour that made working with him a real adventure and pleasure. I am so pleased that his life after he retired was as long and as active as it obviously was. I will remember him as long as I live and I send deepest condolences to you all.
