Biss, Kathryn Elizabeth (nee Wignall)

Suddenly passed away on Monday November 19, 2018 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 71. Kathy of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Tony Biss for over 51 years. Loving mother of Marc and his wife Michelle and Trevor. Cherished grandmother of Morgan and Myles. Kathy is also survived by her sisters Joan Brindle and Barbara Goatley and her many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Shirley Wignall, sisters Ruth Hiscox and Joy Irwin and her brother Thomas (Tim) Wignall. Kathy was a wonderful woman who was so filled with love, joy and life. She was a BETA SIGMA PHI alumni, gave to her community through her past involvement with the Wasaga Beach Lioness Club and the Alliston Rotary Club where she was awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship. Kathy was also a woman of faith and was dedicated to the Wasaga Beach United Church. She will be deeply missed by so many. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Thursday November 29, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. . The ceremony to celebrate her life will be held at the Wasaga Beach United Church, 380 Zoo Park Road, Wasaga Beach on Friday November 30, 2018 at 11 o’clock. Reception to follow at the Country Life Banquet Hall, 75 Theme Park Drive, Wasaga Beach.
