Ray, age 65, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, January 25th, 2019, after years of making every day count in spite of cancer. Ray, beloved husband of Lucy for 43 years. Loving father of Raymond and Sonia Burke (Grayson). Adoring grandfather of Griffin. Ray is survived by his mother Thelma, his brothers Bob (Mary), David (Lori), and his sisters Carol (Paul), Diana (Don), Sharon (Hugh), Debbie (Tony), Betty (Ron), and Pat (Dave). Ray will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home - Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach, on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 at 11:00 am with visitation starting at 10 am. A reception will follow. Remembrances to the Breast Cancer Foundation, a cause Ray passionately supported, would be appreciated by the family.
