Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie at the age of 72. Peter of Thornton. Loving spouse of Susan Lowe. Beloved father of Veronica Nagel. Proud grandfather of Tiffany and Dylan. He will also be missed by Sarah, Amber, Christine and was known as Opa to Christine’s children. Brother of Maryanne (John Laffan) of Tiny, Nellie (Frank) Curran of New Lowell, Toni (Arnold) Isaac of Cashtown. Peter is predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary Nagel, brother Ben Nagel and his wife Judith Nagel (née Lawrence). Cremation has taken place. Peter’s family invite you to join them to celebrate Peter’s life on Sunday March 17, 2019 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 8439 Main Street, Lisle from 2 to 5:30 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held in the spring at Stayner Union Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel. If desired, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by Peter’s family.
